Next Gathering: Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

When: Tuesday, March 18th, 2008 6:00 PM
Where: The Pape's

The Pape's have offered their home as the next meeting destination. (Thanks Papes!) Leslie has suggested hamburgers and hot dogs for the meal and offered to provide the meat. That leaves the rest of us to bring buns, tomatoes/onions/pickels/lettuce, drinks, and other sides (chips, beans, salad, etc.) Just add a comment to say what you're brining.

MENU CHANGE: No hamburgers/hotdogs because the grill-meister will be out of town. Leslie is making a BIG salad instead. Still post on what you're going to bring to go along with a BIG salad.

At our previous gathering, we participated in a time of worship (in song), prayer, scripture, and even a message or two. Almost everyone had something to offer, and it was beautiful! This time round, I propose that we come together with the following ideas in our hearts and minds:

Crucifixion Sacrifice Atonement Resurrection

Seems fitting for March, eh? Of course, if you have something in your heart/mind that you'd like to share that doesn't seem to match these ideas, bring it anyway! This is just offered to give us something to think about until we meet.

"To get to our house, just take 66 East toward Yankeetown. After Sharon Road, take the first left on Ferstel. Turn right 1/2 mile down into the first subdivision (The Reserve). We are the third house on the left, 6054 Pembrooke Drive. It's a light tan brick house with a wood-look door."

Email was getting cumbersome. Take the poll for what dates will be good for our next gathering.
